Task Force for Chinese Wikimedia Conference 2009

According to a resolution had passed on the 23^rd meeting of the Provisional Directory, the proposal for a Task Force for Chinese Wikimedia Conference 2009 was approved. The Provisional Directory had appointed members and counsellors first time on the subsequent meeting and more is expected to be appointed. We welcome volunteers, especially from Chapter Members.

Mission

To support our neighbouring and friendly fellow chapter, Wikimedia Macau, to hold a successful Chinese Wikimedia Conference in 2009.

Tasks

• To expand the funding for the conference, especially collecting donation locally, and from the friendly institutions.
• To accommodate the technical and logistical support that the conference indeed
• To handle Public Relation in Hong Kong and towards relevant publics world wide, especially the Wikimedia Foundation and fellow chapters
• To accommodate the some exclusive benefit helping our own chapter members getting to the conference
• To give other supports that request by the organizing authority in Macau.

Members & Counsellors

Members Counsellors are appointed to the task force by the Provisional Directory, however they are expected to serve until the conference is held, when will be within the term of the first directly-elected-directory. According to the Constitution of the Chapter, technical the Members Counsellors need re-appointed by the newly elected directory when they swear in.
